Sorry, no new pictures. Where did we pack those batteries for the camera?

Ray Gun

After a hard day of defending the house from aliens, Mary likes to cuddle and get her head sniffed.

8 months!

Happy Eight Month Birthday to Frankie! It has been a hell of a month. Sorry for no new updates. As you can imagine, real life is kicking online life's butt. Who has time to find batteries for the camera when you're moving, Christmasing, and dealing with a sick, teething baby that won't sleep.

Mary has had a cold and cough for a week now, but it seems to be almost over. Now we can work on getting her to want to wake at six am, not go to bed at six am.

Our new digs are adorable and much more family friendly. The little rug rat is enjoying being able to follow us from room to room and comment on our activities. As she gets more skills, the language barrier is really starting to frustrate her. It's not enough just to be comfy anymore; she longs to say things like, "Hey! Let me chew on that spatula!" Mostly she likes to say "Dada". It is her word for Chris and her word for play.

Sorry for sending no cards or presents this year. Our wonderful family and friends are in our thoughts but we just ran out of time and energy. Here's hoping the new year is full of sleep and order. :-)

On the Shoulders of Giants

Hello, it feels like it's been a long time since I wrote any news. To James and Mary: your discs will be in the mail Friday. We have been very busy having fun.

Mary is growing by leaps and bounds. Everyday she spends more time vertical and eats more mushed up food. In the mornings she likes to yell at me. We have no idea what she's saying but it's fabulous to see the kick she gets out of using her voice.

We still have yet to get Mary's H1N1 vaccine; the doctor won't have any till maybe December. Otherwise, all is well.

Halloween 09

W

Man, I love Halloween. Mary had a fabulous time. She spent a couple of hours with our wonderful neighbors (thank you, Rosie and Jon!) and then cuddled in with us to watch a scary movie. Here are pics of what Chris and I were up to while Mary was talking to Rosie.

More Photos

Thanks again, Aunt Sara, for delivering so many cute baby clothes.

Hereditary

You can tell Mary has my nose cause it goes pink whenever she's been outside.

Baby Smacker

Don't know why we bought more baby toys. Turns out everything is a baby toy.

Complaints

And then I told her, "Don't give me any guff. Clean your room."
Don't forget to leave a comment. Knowing that people look at these makes our day.

Green-Eyed Monster

I finally some pictures of how beautiful Mary's eyes are as they change. The real complicated colors didn't show up, but these are better than the photos we tried before.

Squash Blossom

Chris thinks that, just because everyone's looking at Mary in her adorable squash hat, he can do whatever he wants.
